German Wine Queen 2018/19: Carolin Klöckner

Carolin Klöckner (born September 9, 1995 ) from Vaihingen-Gündelbach in the Württemberg wine-growing region in Baden-Württemberg was the German Wine Queen 2018/2019. She was elected the 70th German Wine Queen on September 28, 2018 in the Saalbau in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse as the successor to Katharina Staab . This makes her the 4th wine queen from the Württemberg wine-growing region. In 2016/2017, Mara Walz from Vaihingen-Ensingen became the German Wine Princess. 2018/2019 Inga Storck (July 21, 1994, Einselthum, Pfalz ) and Klara Zehnder (February 20, 1996, Randersacker, Franconia ) are elected as wine princesses for the twelve-month term of office . Before she was elected Württemberg Wine Queen, Carolin Klöckner held the office of Vaihinger Wine Princess.

Klöckner was in the United States until she was seven and then grew up in a family home where agriculture was pursued as a hobby and sideline. So she had contact with field crops and farm animals from an early age. She is a student of agricultural sciences at the University of Hohenheim . Her interest in this position was awakened by a former Württemberg wine queen.
