The German Wine Princesses are the representatives of the German Wine Queen . Each year those applicants who are defeated in the second ballot of the German Wine Queen (maximum of three) receive the title of Wine Princess. Like the wine queen, they are representatives of German wine on behalf of the German Wine Institute .
