Lulemino

Lulemino (German Lüllemin ) is a village in the powiat Słupski of the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship .

Geographical location

Lulemino is located in Western Pomerania , about eleven kilometers south of Kobylnica ( Kublitz ), three kilometers south of Słupsk ( Stolp ) and 106 kilometers west of the regional metropolis of Danzig ( Gdańsk ).

history

Today's Lulemino was a noble estate. The historic village of shape after it is a row village . It is said to have been in the possession of a Kashubian landlord (Pan). Later the village became a property of the city of Stolp. This ownership was confirmed in 1494 by Duke Bogislaw X. in a legal ruling issued to Wolgast . Since the Kashubian name for Mr. Pan is, part of the former estate was later called Pankenhof . To 1784, there were Lüllemin a Vorwerk, a water mill, seven farmers, two Kossäten , a Büdner , a schoolmaster and the small peat bog away from the village center a skating in a total of 21 households. In the mill pond fish farming was operated. In 1925 there were 51 residential buildings in Lüllemin. In 1939 there were 313 people in 69 households in Lüllemin.

Before the end of the Second World War , Lüllemin belonged to the district of Stolp in the administrative district of Köslin in the province of Pomerania . The community area was 925 hectares and housed a total of two residential areas

Lüllemin was the seat of the district of Lüllemim . In 1939 there were 26 farms in the municipality of Lüllemin.

Towards the end of World War II, the region was occupied by the Red Army on May 7, 1945 . Soon afterwards the village was placed under Polish administration together with the whole of Western Pomerania . In the summer of 1945, the immigration of Poles began, taking over houses and farms. This was accompanied by the first evictions of the local villagers. Lüllemin was renamed Lulemino by the Poles .

Later 160 villagers displaced from Lüllemin in the Federal Republic of Germany and 56 in the GDR were identified.

In 2008 Lulemino had 106 inhabitants.
