The Gmina Kępice [ kɛmˈpʲit͡sɛ ] is an urban-and-rural municipality in the powiat Słupski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . The area has an area of 293 square kilometers, on which about 9300 inhabitants live. Its seat is the small town of the same name ( German Hammermühle ) with 3689 inhabitants (2016).
geography
The municipality is located in Western Pomerania , 40 kilometers east of Koszalin (Köslin) , about 19 kilometers southeast of Sławno (Schlawe) . The community lies on both sides of the Wieprza (Wipper) . Two kilometers east of the town of Kępice is the Jezioro Obłęskie (Lake Woblans) .
