The Gmina Dębnica Kaszubska is a rural municipality in the powiat Słupski of the Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It covers an area of 300 km² and has 9770 inhabitants. Its seat is the village of the same name ( German Rathsdamnitz , Kashubian Kaszëbskô Dãbnica or Kaszëbskô Damnica ).
geography
The community is located in Western Pomerania , about ten kilometers southeast of Słupsk (Stolp) . 48% of their area is used for forestry and 43% for agriculture. The largest part of the municipality belongs to the park krajobrazowy Dolina Słupe (landscape protection park Stolpetal) . In addition to the Słupia (Stolpe) , the Skotawa (Schottow) belongs to the watercourses.
history
In 1983 the rural community Dębnica Kaszubska was formed, which at that time had an area of 271 km² with 7623 inhabitants. Until 1998 it belonged to the Slupsk Voivodeship .

traffic
The voivodship road DW 210 , which connects Słupsk and Unichowo near Bytów, runs through the municipality .
A connection to the route network of the Polish State Railways (PKP) exists outside the municipality with the railway stations in Słupsk PKP lines 202 ( Stargard Szczeciński − Danzig ) and 405 ( railway line Piła – Ustka ).
