Maleniec (German Malenz , Kashubian Môlëńc ) is a village in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship , part of the municipality Dębnica Kaszubska ( Rathsdamnitz ) in the powiat Słupski ( Stolp district ). With its 72 inhabitants, the place is incorporated into the Schulzenamt Gogolewko .
Geographical location and transport links
Maleniec is located on a side street that connects Głobino ( Gumbin ) on Voivodship road 210 and Dobieszewo ( Groß Dübsow ) with Podkomorzyce ( Niemietzke ) on Voivodship road 211 , and can be reached via the Gogolewko ( Neu Jugelow ) junction .
To 1945 rail connection via the station Budow (today Polish: Budowo) of Stolpe Talbahn the railway Stolp-Budow (Słupsk-Budowo). At that time, “In der Malenz” was also used as a landscape name and included the region around the Malenz stream up to the confluence with the Schottow in a length of about five kilometers. This is where the field mark borders of Budow, Gaffert, Neu Jugelow, Kleschinz, Groß Nossin and Klein Nossin meet, where the individual farms belonging to the manors of Gaffert and Klein Nossin and, since the 19th century, to the rural communities of Kleschinz and Groß Nossin each as “Malenz zu. . . ”Designated Vorwerk, the center of which by name was the manor Malenz belonging to Neu Jugelow. This manor with the associated workers' houses had 332.5 hectares. Like Alt Jugelow and Neu Jugelow, it originally belonged to the von Zitzewitz family, who sold them in the middle of the 19th century. Gut Malenz had been owned by the Koepke family since 1928. In 1945 the number of inhabitants was 11, as it had been for 28 years.
1975 to 1998 the place was part of the Slupsk Voivodeship .

Ecclesiastically, the Malenzer Vorwerke belonged to the following parishes until 1945: Malenz zu Gaffert to the parish of Budow, Malenz to Neu Jugelow to the parish of Neu Jugelow, Malenz to Groß Nossin, Klein Nossin and Kleschinz to the parish of Groß Nossin.
Since 1945 Maleniec belongs to the Catholic parish Nożyno in the deanery Łupawa ( Lupow ) in the diocese of Pelplin of the Catholic Church in Poland . Protestant church members living here belong to the Kreuzkirche community in Słupsk ( Stolp ) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
