Diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland
The diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland (Polish : dieczja pomorsko-wielkopolska) is one of six dioceses of the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland . Its official seat is in Sopot (Sopot) , the Episcopal Church is the Savior Church there.

The diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland is located in the western part of Poland . In the north it borders on the Baltic Sea, in the east on the dioceses of Mazury and Warsaw , in the south on the diocese of Katowice and in the west on the diocese of Wroclaw . With an area of around 77,000 km², it includes the Voivodeships of Greater Poland , Kuyavian-Pomeranian , Pomerania and the eastern part of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship .

The bishop is the spiritual head of the diocese . Michał Warczyński has held this post since 1992 . Marcin Hintz was elected as his successor on December 4, 2010 by the diocesan synod . He took office in 2011 and is a member of the four-member diocesan council .
The highest decision-making body is the diocesan synod , whose members are elected for a term of five years. In addition, the diocese sends members to the church synod of the Evangelical Augsburg Church in Poland .
