Czarnylas (German: Black Forest ) is a village and Schulzenamt of the rural municipality Przygodzice in the powiat Ostrowski of the Greater Poland Voivodeship , Poland .
history
From 1934 to 1954 the village was the seat of the Gmina Czarnylas . At that time it belonged to the Poznań Voivodeship and from 1975 to 1998 to the Kalisz Voivodeship .
In addition to the Roman Catholic community, there is still a branch of the Lutheran Church of the Pomeranian-Greater Poland diocese in the village . At times there were up to seven denominations in the village. In addition to the two denominations mentioned, there were Old Lutherans , Baptists and Methodists who maintained their own churches or chapels. The Mormons also met in the Methodist Chapel , which was demolished after the cinema in 1945 and later.
Attractions
- Roman Catholic Church ( Kościół Najświętszej Marii Panny Niepokalanie Poczętej ), built between 1856 and 1860 by the Old Prussian Lutheran congregation in neo-Romanesque style with the help of the Gustav Adolf factory
- Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus ( Kościół Najświętszego Serca Jezusa ), built in 1925 in the neo-baroque style
- Lutheran Church, built in the neo-Gothic style by the old Lutheran congregation in 1889–1900
- Rectory ( pastorówka ) of the former Old Lutheran parish from 1900
- Baptist Chapel, now a library.
