Brennan Brown
Brennan Brown (born November 23, 1968 in Tulsa , Oklahoma ) is an American actor . He gained fame primarily through the role of Robert Childan from the series The Man in the High Castle .
life and career
Brennan Brown is from Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was already on stage at the Tulsa Community Theater during his school days. After graduating from high school, Brown studied theater at Yale University , from which he graduated with a Master of Fine Arts . In 1995 he made his acting debut in front of the camera in a short film. Five years later he appeared in the series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit for the first time in a guest role on television. This was soon followed by roles in Kidnapped - 13 Days of Hope , John Adams - Freedom for America , Gossip Girl or Damages - In the Net of Power .
In 2007 he made his acting debut in The Girl in the Park . An appearance in Turn the River followed shortly thereafter. After further guest appearances he appeared again between 2012 and 2013 as Special Agent Nicholas Donnelly in the series Person of Interest . This was followed by appearances in Breaking Bad , Good Wife , Sleepy Hollow , The Blacklist , Elementary , Madam Secretary and Doubt . Between 2014 and 2015, Brown played supporting roles in the series Beauty and the Beast and Mozart in the Jungle .
From 2015 he gained greater prominence through the roles of neurologist Dr. Sam Abrams in Chicago Med and as Richard Childan in the dystopian series The Man in the High Castle . In the second-named role, he was promoted from a supporting actor to a leading actor after the first season. In 2019 he played a supporting role as cryptanalyst Joseph Rochefort in Roland Emmerich's Midway - For Freedom .
In addition to acting in front of the camera and on stage, Brown occasionally lends his voice to characters from video games, for example in Manhunt 2 and Red Dead Redemption .
