The Gropeheia ( Norwegian for valley height ) is a mountain of Sør Rondane in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . It rises north of Oberstbreen in the northern part of Balchenfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it descriptively in 1990 because the mountain is located in an area with numerous depressions .
