Groupe F is a global company that develops and performs pyrotechnic shows and open-air theater performances. The company is considered France's flagship when it comes to fireworks .

history

The company Groupe F was founded in 1990 by François Montel, Alain and Didier Burkhalter Mandin at the site Bessèges in Gard in southern France founded. In 1992 the team was expanded with Éric Noel, Nicolas Mousques, Caroline and Christophe Berthonneau. The Groupe F designed the fireworks effects for the closing ceremony of the Barcelona Olympics . From 1993 the shows "Oiseaux de Feu" and "Un peu plus de Lumière" were performed internationally. In 1998, Groupe F realized the fireworks show at the end of the soccer World Cup .

On December 31, 1999, Groupe F performed the New Year's Eve fireworks for 2000 at the Eiffel Tower. Groupe F then used interdisciplinary teams for the artistic and technical implementation of major international projects . Jonas Bidaut, Cédric Moreau, Eric Travers and Jeff Yelnik have been accompanying Groupe F in its international development since then. Since 2000, Groupe F has been exploring new scenographic possibilities and creating the necessary means to merge light, video mapping, music, fireworks and human actors into a monumental show. The Palace of Versailles , the bridge Pont du Gard and the Eiffel Tower were you ever gone venues for these creations.

In November 2017, Groupe F put on a show for the opening of the Louvre Abu Dhabi on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Communication .
