history
The first guess comes from October 24th, 1848 by the miner Gottlieb Schmidt from Bensberg. Renewed dowsing followed in the years 1850 and 1851. On 13 November 1858 was awarded Schmidt the ceremony of the mine field Ludwig hope of lignite. Since that time, applications have continued to be made for deadlines , which were approved on December 31, 1862.
