The Grundlose Kolk is a small lake with surrounding moor near Mölln in the Duchy of Lauenburg , Schleswig-Holstein . The Kolk lies at the lowest point of the wildlife park on the eastern edge of the city at 19 meters above sea level, while the surrounding heights rise to 42 meters. Melting glaciers from the last Ice Age washed out the valley basin, which is now surrounded by forests, on the bottom of which, without drainage, the moor and lake formed over an area of about 100 by 120 meters. The water level is regulated solely by precipitation and evaporation. Fever clover , cotton grass , swamp blood-eye , mud-sedge and sundew grow in the moor, into which a wooden walkway leads .
