The Grupo Colpatria is a Colombian group of companies that was founded in Bogotá in November 1955 . The fifth largest financial group in Colombia with its headquarters in Torre Colpatria , which has long been the tallest building in Colombia, is active in the fields of banking, insurance, construction, infrastructure and mining, among other things. Eduardo Pacheco Cortes has been its chairman since 2011 .
The Colpatria Group consists essentially of a bank, a trustee, two insurance companies (general and life insurance), a capitalization and a health company as well as risk management and a construction and real estate company.
