The Gsaritzer Almbach is a stream in the municipality of St. Veit in Defereggen ( Lienz district ). The stream rises north of the Gsaritzer Törl in the Villgraten mountains and flows into the Schwarzach opposite the village of Zotten .

course

The Gsaritzer Almbach rises in the valley head between the Karnase in the southwest and the Gsaritzer Törl in the south. It also feeds itself from other source streams that arise between Gsaritzer Törl, the high face in the southeast and the Beilspitze in the northeast. After the source streams have merged, the Gsaritzer Almbach strives north, where it passes the alpine pastures of the Gsaritzer Alm at 1800 meters above sea level. Below the Gsaritzeralm, the Gsaritzer Almbach supports down a forest ravine, passes a waterfall and then enters the Defereggental . Here it flows into the Schwarzach opposite the village of Zotten or west of Görtschach .
