Guadalupe Torrez (born May 17, 2001 ) is a Bolivian sprinter .

Athletic career

Guadalupe Torrez gained her first experience in international championships in 2017 at the U18 South American Championships in Santiago de Chile , where she was eliminated in the first round in the 100-meter run with 12.52 s and seventh place over 200 meters in 26.28 s occupied. The following year she won at the South American Games in Cochabamba with the Bolivian 4 x 100 meter relay in 46.17 s, the silver medal behind the one from Venezuela. She then took sixth place over 100 meters in the U18 South American Championships in Cuenca in 12.51 seconds, as well as over 200 meters in 26.20 seconds. In addition, she came fourth with the relay in 49.67 s. At the Ibero-American Championships in Trujillo , she retired over 100 meters with 12.56 s in the lead and won the bronze medal behind the teams from Peru and Ecuador with the relay in 47.39 s. In 2019 she was eliminated at the U20 South American Championships in Cali with 12.53 s and 25.65 s respectively in the preliminary round over 100 and 200 meters and also at the Pan American Junior Championships in San José , the end came in the first round after 12 , 44 s and 25.98 s, respectively. At the 2020 South American Indoor Championships in Cochabamba, she set a new national record in the 200-meter run with 25.34 s and thus came fourth, while she came in sixth in the 60-meter run in 7.80 s .

In 2020 Torrez became the Bolivian indoor champion in the 200-meter run.
