Gualterio Looser Schallemberg

Gualterio Looser Schallemberg (born September 4, 1898 in Santiago de Chile , † July 22, 1982 ibid) was a Swiss-Chilean botanist . Its official botanical author's abbreviation is " Looser ".

According to Looser, the plant species are Solanum looseri Buk. (Solanaceae) Aloysia looseri Mold. (Verbenaceae), Amaranthus looseri Suess. (Amaranthaceae), Astragalus looseri Johnst. (Fabaceae), Nassauvia looseri Cabr. (Asteraceae), and Tropaeolum looseri Sparre (Tropaeolaceae).
