Gudmund Storlien (born July 4, 1990 in Hamar ) is a Norwegian Nordic combined athlete .

Storlien made his international debut in March 2007 when he first took part in a B World Cup and immediately placed 23rd in midfield. A year later he took part for the first time in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships in Zakopane , Poland , where he finished fourth in the ten-kilometer race and thus became the best Norwegian. In December 2008 he made his first World Cup appearance , but clearly missed the points in Trondheim as 52nd and penultimate. On the other hand, Storlien's next two participations in the Junior World Championships were more successful. In both 2009 and 2010 the Norwegian won two medals, one in a team and one in an individual. In February 2009 he won the gold medal in the relay competition together with Thorbjörn Brandt , Ole Christian Wendel and Truls Sønstehagen Johansen . A year later, the Norwegian team missed defending their title by just 13 seconds and thus won the silver medal.

Storlien achieved his first World Cup points in November 2010 at the season opener of the combined athletes in Kuusamo : After having been in ninth place after jumping, he fell back to 22nd place in running. A week later, the Norwegian achieved another top 30 result in 29th place at the home World Cup in Lillehammer and thus gained World Cup points.

Gudmund's brother, Ole Martin Storlien, who is two years older, is also a Nordic combined skier and also competes in the World Cup.
