Gudrun Leyendecker (born May 19, 1948 in Bonn ) is a German author .

Life

Leyendecker was the fourth child of the art historian Ernst Lang and pianist Margarethe Lang. Already in childhood she wrote unpublished short stories and novels .

After attending the girls' high school, her professional goal of becoming an actress could not be achieved, because at the request of her father she was supposed to take up the profession of doctor. Instead, she completed an apprenticeship as a bookbinder .

After their wedding, she devoted herself to the family, from this marriage there are two sons. In her spare time she painted and wrote novels.

Her writing career began during her second marriage in 1991. After working in life counseling for a few years, she first wrote two esoteric books, followed by novels and guides. Between 2004 and 2006 she joined the Italian artists' association “Culturaitalia” and drew illustrations for the books of her Italian friends.

Leyendecker has been working as an extra since 2012 . She played smaller roles in various series ( cheerful to deadly (ARD), suspected cases (RTL), attention control (Kabel Eins) and a supporting role in Schimanski: Loverboy ).
