Guido Beer

Guido Beer (born February 3, 1885 in Rome ; † June 1938 ) was an influential employee of Benito Mussolini at times .

Beer completed a law degree at the University of Rome , did military service until 1920 and joined Mussolini's fascist party in March 1919. From February 1928 he held the influential office of cabinet chief Mussolini as Secretary of the Council of Ministers. In the course of the distancing of Mussolini from his employees of Jewish origin, which began in 1933, Beer was given the post of Prefect of Venice from 1933 to 1934 , and that of Catania from 1934 to 1937 . He was then a member of the Council of State (Consigliere di Stato).
