Namolesso ( Namoleso , Namleso , Namuleso ) is an East Timorese suco in the administrative office of Lequidoe ( municipality of Aileu ).

Before the 2015 territorial reform, Namolesso had an area of ​​10.41 km². Now there are 7.42 km². The Suco lies to the west of the Lequidoe administrative office. To the west is the Suco Manucassa , north of the Suco Fahisoi , east of the Suco Acubilitoho and southeast of the Suco Betulau . In the southwest, Namolesso borders the Aileu administrative office with its Suco Fahiria . The northern border is formed by the Coioiai river , the southern border is followed by the Manufonihun . Both belong to the system of Northern Laclós .

Most of Namolessos are located in the north of the Sucos along a road and together form the administrative seat of the Lequidoe administrative office . These are the towns of Daro , Aitoin ( Aitoi ), Lacabou , Serema ( Seema ), Maucurunamo ( Maukuruaamo , Maukurunamo ) and Gariqai ( Guriqui ). There is a community health center, a helipad and a primary school, the Escola Primaria Namuleso . The settlement of Hautbititalau ( Hautbiritalau ) lies on the western border and the village of Bilaco , which has its own elementary school, to the south .

The four Aldeias Aitoin , Lacabou , Maucurunamo and Serema are located in the Suco .

Residents

1510 inhabitants live in the Suco (2015), of which 795 are men and 715 women. The population density is 203.6 inhabitants / km². There are 239 households in the Suco. Almost 95% of the population name Mambai as their mother tongue. Almost 4% speak Tetum Prasa and a small minority speak Habun .

politics

In the elections of 2004/2005 was António Correia elected Chefe de Suco and in 2009 re-elected. In the elections in 2016 won Celestino Choli .
