Guido Buettgen

Guido Buettgen (born April 2, 1967 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German crime writer .

Life

After studying visual communication, Buettgen worked for well-known advertising agencies such as McCann Erickson and Serviceplan . In 2010 he took a commercial break, went on a world tour lasting several months and earned his living as a boxing trainer. After publishing a self-published travelogue, he switched to fiction and, in collaboration with Emons Verlag, published the Starnberger See crime thrillers Champagnerblut und Champagnertod , the premiere readings of which took place as part of the Munich crime festival .

In the meantime, Guido Buettgen has returned to the marketing industry and works as managing director of a Munich advertising agency. Buettgen lives with his family in Feldafing on Lake Starnberg .
