Anne Lise Ådnøy

Anne Lise Ådnøy (born August 30, 1957 in Haga , Vestland ) is a Norwegian Lutheran clergyman. She has been bishop in the diocese of Stavanger since 2019 .

Ådnøy passed the theological candidate exam in 1982 and was ordained in Kristiansund in 1984 . After the vicarage , she worked from 1985 to 1993 as a parish pastor in Edøy ( Møre og Romsdal ) and then as a youth pastor in Hundvåg , a district of Stavanger . In 2003 she took over a parish priesthood in Stavanger, and in 2011 the office of Dompröpstin at Stavanger Cathedral . In January 2019 she was appointed Bishop of the Diocese of Stavangers as the successor to Ivar Braut , whom she had represented for a few months, and was introduced to her office on March 17th.
