Ingeborg Synøve Midttømme (born November 20, 1961 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian Lutheran clergyman and has been a bishop in the Møre diocese of the Church of Norway since 2008 .

Life

Midttømme studied at the Theological College ( Menighetsfakultetet ) in Oslo until 1987 and then worked as a pastor, first in Høybråten (Oslo) , then in Sørfold , from 1997 in the Oslo district of Holmlia . In 2003 she was elected President of the Norwegian Pastors' Association. In May 2008, Midttømme was appointed bishop in the diocese of Møre and introduced to Molde Cathedral on September 21 .

She is married and has three children.
