Guido Karutz

Guido Karutz (* December 21, 1936 - July 21, 2016 ) was a German high school teacher, Germanist and German didactic .

Life

In the early 1970s Karutz was Karl Konrad Polheim's assistant at the University of Bonn. For many years Karutz was director of studies at the Nelly-Sachs-Gymnasium in Neuss , where he taught German, philosophy and Protestant religion. As a specialist , he also taught at the Staatliche Studienseminar Duisburg II, wrote numerous articles, including for the Hebbel yearbook, and after his retirement he was involved with seminars on literature and philosophy in various adult education institutions. He founded the “Forum Classicum” series of events at the Catholic Academy in Schwerte .
