Guido Leoni (screenwriter)
Guido Leoni (born October 25, 1920 in Verona , † December 1, 1998 in Rome ) was an Italian screenwriter and film director .
Life
Leoni began writing radio plays and contributions for radio programs while he was still studying law . He wrote his first screenplay for the cinema in 1949. In 1952 he worked for Carlo Ludovico Bragaglia's L'eroe sono io , where a long-lasting collaboration with the actor Renato Rascel began. In the following years he worked with him mostly for radio and television, but also made two films. Towards the end of the 1960s, Leoni's quantitative participation in both scripts and the staging of some films increased significantly until he made his last film in 1977 with La casa sul lago .
One of Leonis' stage names was Robert Bradley .
