action

Ambitious engineer Francesco Ferrero is dispatched to a tropical island with suspected silver deposits to continue geological investigations that his lost predecessor began. In addition, on behalf of his superior, he should inquire about the whereabouts of his colleague.

Ferrero opens up a completely alien world. He comes into contact with locals and dropouts who try to escape the industrialized world here. They all want to prevent the development of possible deposits and raw material deposits. Ferrero's work is then sabotaged, and business correspondence does not reach its destination. The shady adventurer Chavad proves to be particularly daring, who even uses black magic to plague Ferrero with surreal daydreams. The geoscientific work ultimately comes to a standstill.

At a different time, the mineral engineer gets to know the revealing island beauty Jeanine. Although the attractive woman is already in a relationship, Ferrero and the locals subsequently become lovers. Jeanine finally tells her loved one about his predecessor. He once escaped the idyllic island world in order to be able to lead a carefree and happy life with Jeanine's sister - far away from civilization. When, at the end of the day, a Catholic missionary confirms Jeanine's story, Ferrero also chooses a life of seclusion with his lover Jeanine.
