Guido Rennert
Guido Rennert (born January 19, 1973 in Torgau ) is a German clarinetist , composer and arranger in the field of brass music . He is a staff sergeant in the music corps of the Bundeswehr .
Life
From 1983 Guido Rennert learned the clarinet at the Torgau Music School. At a young age he composed his first smaller pieces for different ensembles . At the age of 18 he entered the military music service of the German Armed Forces in 1991 and became part of the training music corps and studied clarinet from 1992 to 1996 at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf with Ekkehardt Feldmann .
From then on he occupied himself with composing and arranging larger works. This was followed by numerous commissions for solo works as well as for large symphonic orchestral works and collaborations etc. a. with Martin Böttcher , Jiggs Whigham and German Brass . Rennert also works as a film composer for television and cinema.
Guido Rennert is a clarinetist with the Bundeswehr Music Corps in Siegburg . In April 2001 he founded the “AuRen Musikverlag” together with his fellow music corps colleague Gerd Außenem.
