Guido Scala

Guido Scala (born February 14, 1936 in Turin , † January 6, 2001 in Chiavari ) was an Italian cartoonist .

Scala began his career with Lo Scolaro in the early 1950s with spades and poks ( spades and poks ) and other series. He then met Luciano Bottaro (1931-2006), for whom he wrote stories. Bottaro himself had started at Disney in 1952 , a few years later he got the young Scala to help. From 1968 until his death, Scala worked for the Italian Disney comic licensee Mondadori . He mainly drew stories with Dagobert Duck, but also a few from Maus-Inversum, the latter, however, rather seldom.
