Guilherme Cobbo

Guilherme Henrique Cobbo (born October 1, 1987 in Uraí , Paraná ) is a Brazilian high jumper .

Career

Cobbo took part in the Junior World Championships in Beijing in August 2006 . As 11th of the qualification he missed the qualification for the final.

In April 2009 he jumped the first time the height of 2.20 meters in a competition in Medellín . In 2011 he won the silver medal at the South American Championships in Buenos Aires . On June 2, 2012, he jumped 2.28 meters in São Paulo , the qualifying height for the Summer Olympics in London . He improved his personal best by six centimeters and stayed just four centimeters below the Brazilian record of Jesse Farias de Lima . At the Olympic Games in 2012 , he failed with 2.21 meters in qualification.
