Guillaume Gauclin (born June 17, 1981 in Évreux ) is a French football goalkeeper . His greatest success so far is winning the Coupe de France 2008/09 .
Career
Even as a teenager, Gauclin played in Guingamp . In 1997 he received a professional contract and was in the club's squad until 2001. In the 2001/02 season he was loaned to FC Lorient and returned to his home club after the season was over. After another season at Guingamp, he was awarded again for the 2003/04 season, this time to ES Wasquehal . Here, too, he only stayed a year and was loaned out to FC Lorient for the 2004/05 season. From 2005 to summer 2012 he was continuously in the squad of EA Guingamp. On May 9, 2009 Gauclin and his club won the French Cup in the final against Stade Rennes . While Gauclin was used in the cup, Stéphane Trévisan was preferred in the league.
After five years in reserve at Guingamp, Gauclin moved to OC Vannes in summer 2010 . He played in 34 games in the 2010/2011 season and was relegated to the National (D3) with the team . In his second season at Vannes, he played in 31 games and missed direct promotion. After Vannes missed the promotion, he left his club and was without a club.
On December 29, 2012 he moved to RC Strasbourg after six months without a club .
