Guillaume Roussel (born March 18, 1980 in France ) is a French composer .

Career

Guillaume Roussel comes from a musical family. His grandfather was a composer and director of the Bogota Conservatory. He learned the piano during his childhood. He studied music in Saint-Maur, at the Center d'informations musicales in Paris and at the Center des Musiques Didier Lockwood.

With the romantic drama Tomorrow Is Today directed by Frederic Lumiere , Roussel made his debut in 2006 as the main composer for a feature film. Since then he has been responsible for the music of over 40 different film and television projects, including films such as 3 Days to Kill , The Incorruptible - Murderous Marseille and The Power of Evil . Since 2010, at the invitation of Hans Zimmer for his studio Remote Control Productions , he has been composing additional music for Hollywood productions such as Pirates of the Caribbean - Stranger Tides and Mr. Morgan's Last Love .
