Remote Control Productions is an American company that composes and produces film music . It was founded in 1989 by Hans Zimmer and Jay Rifkin as Media Ventures and later renamed Remote Control Productions after a legal battle between the two .
Remote Control Productions has set films such as Hancock , Batman Begins , Iron Man , Gladiator , The Dark Knight , Kung Fu Panda and Inception to music. There are regular collaborations with composers such as James Newton Howard , Klaus Badelt and Steve Jablonsky .
