Trevor Morris

Trevor Morris (born May 25, 1970 in London , Ontario ) is a Canadian film and computer game composer.

Live and act

Trevor Morris studied violin and choral singing at St. Mary's School. At thirteen, Morris was commissioned by his school to compose a piece on the occasion of Pope John Paul II's visit . From 2002 to 2005, Morris also worked as a composer of additional music for films such as Stealth - Under the Radar (2005), The Island (2005) and Last Samurai (2003). There were also collaborations with other composers such as Hans Zimmer ( Ring 2 , Spanglish , King Arthur ), Ramin Djawadi ( Blade: Trinity ) or Trevor Rabin ( Bad Boys II ). Here, Morris appeared as an arranger, producer and programmer.

As an independent composer, he works for both cinema and television productions. His work includes more than 60 productions.

In 2018 he was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.

Trevor Morris has received two Emmy awards: 2007 for The Tudors and 2011 for The Borgias . He has also received the ASCAP Award three times (2008, 2009 and 2011, for The Tudors ) and twice the Gemini Award (2010 and 2011, also for The Tudors ).
