Cinema magazine writes that Walker fans and those who don't know the original will get their money's worth. According to Harald Peters in Die Welt , Brick Mansions would be an important film if, in addition to all the beating, beating and jumping, he had worked out the charges against the machinations of dark speculators and corrupt politicians even more clearly. Frank Noack wrote in Der Tagesspiegel that not everything about the film directed by advertising film director Camille Delamarre was implausible and superficial. The character Lino Dupree is a broken hero, an ex-junkie and dealer who finally wants to lead a normal life.
