Carlo Rota (born April 17, 1961 in London , England ) is a British - Canadian actor of Italian descent.

Life and accomplishments

Carlo Rota was born in Soho , London . He has a brother named Marco and two sisters. The father, Dante Rota, comes from Piedmont and the mother, Rina, from Sardinia . The now retired father was a well-known chef and the mother worked as a seamstress and cook. Carlo Rota learned the English and Italian languages ​​and grew up in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Carlo Rota worked in Joe Allen's Orso Restaurant in New York and was voted Best Maître d'hôtel of 1987. He also moved to Canada to work in his parents' restaurant business.
