Blake Neely (born April 28, 1969 in Paris , Texas ) is an American composer , conductor , and author .

Neely has worked on more than a dozen film and television series productions to date. These include the television series Everwood , Jack & Bobby , Brothers & Sisters , Eli Stone , Arrow , Supergirl , The Flash , Legends of Tomorrow and Dirty Sexy Money as well as three films in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, King Kong and Last Samurai . For the music to Everwood he received a 2003 Emmy nomination . He often worked with the film producer, screenwriter and film director Greg Berlanti . He wrote the music alone for the film projects Elvis and Anabelle , Starter for 10 and Wedding Date .
