Atli Örvarsson (2016)

Atli Örvarsson (born July 7, 1970 in Akureyri , Norðurland eystra ) is an Icelandic film composer . He works for Hans Zimmer's company Remote Control Productions and mostly works for him as a ghostwriter .

Atli has already won the ASCAP Award four times for its background music for the Law & Order series. Furthermore, the Park City Film Music Festival won the Gold Medal for Excellence twice .

In 2017 he was accepted into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which awards the Oscars every year.
