Guillermo Corona Muñoz

Guillermo Corona Muñoz (born April 16, 1927 in Guadalajara (Mexico) ) is a former Mexican ambassador .

Life

Guillermo Corona Muñoz joined the foreign service on August 16, 1949. He was accredited to the embassies in the Dominican Republic, Ankara and UNESCO. He was Chargé d' affaires in Beijing in 1972 . From November 1976 to March 1978 he represented his country as ambassador to the GDR . On November 29, 1976 he was received by the chairman of the GDR State Council, Erich Honecker , to receive the credentials. On the occasion of the termination of his activity in the GDR, he paid farewell visits on March 28, 1978 to the deputy chairman of the GDR State Council, Horst Sindermann , and the chairman of the GDR Council of Ministers, Willi Stoph .

From March 14, 1981 to June 16, 1982, Guillermo Corona Muñoz had his residence in Beirut and was also accredited with the government of Cyprus .
