Ricardo Guerra Tejada
Ricardo Guerra Tejada (born February 10, 1927 in Mexico City , † May 30, 2007 there ) was a Mexican philosopher and ambassador .
Life
In 1953 he received a chair with the Crítica a las teorías de lo mexicano . In 1956 he received his doctorate from the University of Paris . He attended seminars with Martin Heidegger at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg .
From 1970 to 1978 Ricardo Guerra Tejada was director of the humanities department at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México .
From July 1978 to February 1983 he represented his country as ambassador to the GDR . On July 7, 1978, he was received by the chairman of the GDR State Council, Erich Honecker , to receive the credentials. On the occasion of the termination of his activities in the GDR, Erich Honecker awarded him the “ Star of Friendship of Nations ” in gold on February 24, 1983 .
