The Gumpebach is an approximately 3 km long, left tributary of the Zorge in Nordhausen in Thuringia in Germany. From the source to the mouth, the Gumpebach is a second order body of water, and maintenance is the responsibility of the Harzvorland water maintenance association.

The Gumpebach rises from several sources northeast of Nordhausen. Before it reaches the city park in Nordhausen, it flows in a westerly direction. He crosses the city park itself from north to south. In the park, it is dammed into several ponds and wetlands. Before it joins Zorge, it turns in a south-westerly direction.
