Gunhild Maria Pauline Baroness von Schönau-Wehr , b. Freiin von Ow-Wachendorf (born October 2, 1891 ; † November 15, 1981 ) was a painter from Württemberg .

Life

She was a daughter of Hans-Otto Wolfgang von Ow-Wachendorf (April 28, 1843 - May 7, 1921) and Eleonore von Soden (February 2, 1859 - November 7, 1937). She married the court marshal of Baden, Eberhard Freiherr von Schönau-Wehr (born April 4, 1877 in Wehr ; † 1965) and had a son with him, Wernher Freiherr von Schönau-Wehr (born October 26, 1916 in Stuttgart; † August 13th 2014).

Works

In 1913 she painted a painting that today hangs in the dining room of Hohenentringen Castle above the door to the next room. It shows the procession of the five families living in the castle from the castle to the village, as the painter imagined, whereby the first arrived at the Michaels Church in Entringen when the last were still leaving the castle.
