Gunnar Anton Edvard Asther (born March 4, 1892 in Malmö ; † February 28, 1974 there ) was a Swedish sailor .

Gunnar Asther, who sailed for Malmo YK, took part in the 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles with Daniel Sundén-Cullberg in the Star boat class . With 28 total points, they took third place in their boat Swedish Star behind Gilbert Gray and Andrew Libano from the United States and the British Peter Jaffe and Colin Ratsey and thus won the bronze medal.
