The Talg Gorge is a 150 m long, 5 m wide and 7 to 20 m deep gorge on the Ingrid-Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in the Vestfold Mountains . The Talg River flows through them behind the Talg Falls from the Sørsdal Glacier to Krok Lake .

The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them based on the naming of the river of the same name. The term tallow comes from Arabic and means ice .
