The Talg Falls are a 6 m high waterfall on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . When the Talg River carries water, it tumbles over an ice cliff in the Vestfold Mountains.
The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named it in 1983 based on the name of the river of the same name. The term tallow comes from Arabic and means ice .
