Gunnar Kunz

Gunnar Kunz (born May 16, 1961 in Wolfenbüttel ) is a German writer and illustrator . He is counted among the actors of the anti-feminist men's rights movement in German-speaking countries.

Life

After graduating from high school and doing community service, Gunnar Kunz worked for 14 years at various theaters in Germany as an assistant director, director, stage manager and dramaturge. He lived in Scotland for several years . Since 1997 he has been working as a freelance writer and occasionally as an illustrator and cartoonist using the pseudonym Rannug. From 2002 to 2014 he was a board member of the Berlin State Association of the Association of German Writers . After the writers' association was renamed "Association of German Writers" in October 2015, Kunz resigned from the association.

Works

In addition to short stories in anthologies, lyrics (in English and German) and several novels, he has written over 30 plays, including a number of fairy tale adaptations. The main focus of his literary work is the fantastic genre (fantasy, fairy tales, mystery, science fiction), but also thrillers, historical-political crime stories and works for children and young people. As an illustrator, he has designed theater posters, CD booklets, a book for young people and cartoons.
