Gunnar Martens
Gunnar Martens (born April 7, 1940 ) is a Danish civil servant. He was the third imperial ombudsman in Greenland and held this office from July 1, 1995 to March 31, 2002. In 2001 he was awarded the Dannebrogden third class.
During his tenure, Martens considered Greenlandic independence to be unrealistic.
