Peter Lauritzen

Peter Lauritzen (born December 8, 1959 in Århus ) is a Danish civil servant and was the fourth imperial ombudsman in Greenland .

Life

In 1988 Lauritzen made his cand.scient.pol. at the University of Aarhus .

From 1998 to 2002 he was head of administration in the State Ministry. From April 1, 2002 to March 31, 2005 he was the Imperial Ombudsman in Greenland.

In 2004 he was made a knight of the first class of the Dannebrog Order. From 2005 to 2007 he was a commissioner in the State Ministry. Since 1 January 2007 he has been director of the University of Roskilde University Center, now University of Roskilde called.

Peter Lauritzen is married to the former acting judge of Østre Landsret , Dorthe Søndergaard Lauritzen , and has four children.
