Gunter Bolick

Gunter Bolick (born March 27, 1943 in Stangendorf ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1990 to 2009 he was a member of the Saxon State Parliament .

Life

Gunter Bolick completed his school and professional training in Glauchau and Chemnitz . He finished this as an electrical machine builder. This was followed by a degree in drive and automation technology in Berlin and Dresden . From 1967 to 1993 he worked as a designer, development engineer and group leader in the areas of research and development. Finally, he was also a managing director in companies in the electrical industry and in mechanical engineering. Bolick bears the official title of professor .

Bolick is married with three children and is of Evangelical Lutheran faith.

Gunter Bolick has been a CDU member since 1989 and was a member of the district committee of his party. He was also a member of the state board of the CDU's SME Association . In terms of local politics , he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the district council from 1990 to 1994.

From 1990 to 2009 Gunter Bolick represented the constituency of Chemnitzer Land 1 in the Saxon state parliament. Within his parliamentary group , he was chairman of the working group “Economy, Labor and Transport”. For his party, he was also the specialist spokesman for transport and business in parliament. In the state parliament he was a member of the Committee on Economy, Labor and Transport as well as the Budget and Finance Committee.
