Gunter Huppenbauer

Gunter Huppenbauer (* 1942 in Stuttgart ) is a German civil engineer .

Life

Gunter Huppenbauer studied civil engineering and industrial engineering in Stuttgart and Munich . After working as a construction manager and calculator, he was the technical manager of a large branch of a construction company. In 1983 he received a call to the Chair for Construction Management and Construction Economics at the University of Biberach . For many years he was dean of the Faculty of Business Administration (construction and real estate) and chairman of the Federal Conference of Deans. In 2008 he was after 25 years emeritus .

Act

He was instrumental in founding the Biberach Building Academy , a foundation that supports the advanced training courses at Biberach University. Huppenbauer was the initiator of the “Postgraduate Course in Business Management for Civil Engineers and Architects”, the “Business Days of Biberach University and Building Academy”. Especially with the "Lindau Construction Seminar" , which has existed since 1974, he has been setting standards as director since 1990 in linking the university and the construction industry.
